Current Postal Rates to Rise?

As the self-sustaining plan looms for the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), marketers will see a sharp increase in postal rates. The USPS survival plan is currently in works in Congress. The information was delivered to the members of Direct Marketing Association (DMA) by Steven Sharfman, Postal Regulatory Commission general counsel. The plan will take some 12 to 18 month to be approved and come into power, but the public seems to be mum over the issue.
